Tapa Bucho - Lisboa

My friends and I are big fans of tapas food anyway and this food didn’t disappoint! Really tasty, nice little buzz as it was super busy and just overall, worth a visit. Only thing i would say, the service was a little slow. I did read this in the reviews. It didn’t bother us too much, but I can see how this can be annoying. Would recommend would go back for the food.

Steep climb to get there, unless you take the funicular. Staff more interested in serving cocktails than greeting new customers. Having said that they were helpful, pleasant and efficient thereafter. Really very noisy, in addition to the over-loud background music. Acceptable tapas, though we made the mistake of ordering two potato dishes, so it was a bit unbalanced. Decent wine list. Fine if you are 20-something, I guess.

Best meal we ate in Portugal! Gorgeous dishes, lovely staff tuna tacos, Portobello mushrooms, ceviche and humous all outstanding.

Amazing food, best I had in Lisbon! You must eat here... Gorgeous breads, croquettes, cheeses, ceviche and meats. Professionally presented with a warm cosy vibe. Great wines. Value for money!

Amazing place! Cannot recomend highly enough! We got there really late and they were kind, chatty and friendly with us as we waited. They were really relaxed about the fact we didn't order until 11:50pm. Food was AWESOME! 4 of us shared the padron peppers, calamari, skin on chips (definitely get these ,prawns, french fries, pork cheek (insanely tender! the large steak and the smaller steak. Then for desert, chocolate ganache thing and another desert that was similar to panacota. Everything was so flavourful and cooked perfectly. It was such a feast (we have big appetites . The sangria was lovely and they had a beer that WASNT super boc. Result! It was incredibly reasonably priced with all of this (inc drinks coming to 105€. Every member of staff there was wonderful, friendly and warm, from the two front of house staff, the owner and the chefs. Thank you for a wonderful experience! Definitely go here if you are in lisbon
