Stella Bendigo - Woodfired Pizzeria, Wine Bar & Cafe

After looking for another place to eat lunch and it being closed wr came across Stella. So glad we did! As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by a very friendly waiter who was none too happy to allow us to change tables from the one he recommended. Unfortunately we didn't get his name but he was a great asset to the team. Food..... We had two pizzas a pasta and chips between us and I can safely say it was the best pizza and pasta that I have had in some time. Thick crispy crust, traditional toppings and not greasy. The atmosphere was great. Maybe a smidge on the warmer side in there but it was a cold day outside. Overall great and somewhere we will go again.

Fun, charming atmosphere. A visit to Salt Spring Island wouldn't be complete without a visit to Glad's Ice Cream.

Dropped in for lunch and had the $20 Pizza and beer/wine special.We shared a Great wood fired pizza we had the Chicken and Caramelised onion pizza it was fantastic, we also shared a gnocchi with braised lamb and fresh Parmesan.The service was friendly and efficient.We will be back again.

A small group of us had a really nice dinner here on Saturday night. The food was lovely- lamb pizza was delicious. Food came quickly - pizza hot with thin, chewy crust. Yum! Staff were really nice & friendly- and welcoming. Found us a seat quickly with no fuss even though we had no booking. Good level of noise - not too loud & we could have a nice chat. An enjoyable evening. $110 for 3 people including coffees &sparkling water.
