Stella Bendigo - Woodfired Pizzeria, Wine Bar & Cafe

If you're craving pizza in Bendigo, Stella is definitely the place to visit. They offer a genuine wood-fired pizza experience with delicious bases and a better-than-average passata sauce. However, the use of mediocre quality ingredients was a bit disappointing, which seems to be a common issue in many pizza joints. The arugula and pear salad was outstanding though, which was a pleasant surprise. The wine list featured a small selection of local wines that were excellent. The service was polite and efficient, although I never received the extra chilli I asked for. The restaurant has a nice ambiance with plenty of outdoor seating, and it is conveniently located in the town center. I would definitely return to Stella for another meal.

The restaurant has a fantastic selection of pizzas on the menu, with a staff that is very friendly and a cozy atmosphere. While we enjoyed the pizzas, we felt that they were slightly undercooked. We plan to return in the future and will be sure to request a crispy crust next time. The house wine, a Shiraz, was also quite good. Our Saturday lunch for two cost $70, which we found to be reasonable.

Excellent staff with friendly smiles and prompt service. Gorgeous food! Really yum. Recommend the pear salad. Daughter had the pizza and it looked fantastic and that is what she rated it. First time ever I’ve had a sucky date outing with a real date on top and sauce served in a shot glass! Divine! Well done to all!
