Bidra med feedbackMenu was limited but interesting. Service was excellent. Wait time for our food was too long. Wine list is limited but OK. It was our only option at the resort since Cascada is closed temporarily.
Options for two dining areas plus outside. In summer there will be music on Wednesdays. Ribs and Wedge salad husband I split plenty.
We walked in to the trailhead for our reservation and first off none of the employees had a welcoming bone in their bodies. Except for one guy that has been a bartender for awhile there. We sat down and we were about to order and a few of us were looking forward to the scallops. And we ordered them and they told us that they were out of them and they have been for out for quite awhile now a few months. Seeing how it was the only good thing on the menu it was very disappointing especially because the waiter failed to let us know and that the management wouldn’t re do the menu if they had been out of them awhile. Then we were never asked if we wanted bread when all the other tables were being served bread. The trout I ordered was horrible and tasted like dead soggy fish. The waiter was not at all informative and our experience was not good and it’s not the first time. Pronghorn needs a huge redo on who, how and what they serve. Very disappointed especially when we have to eat there to get our food and beverage total met! Among other issues we did not have a good dinner!
Unfortunately we were not impressed with the restaurant ambiance despite the fact that the rest of the entire resort was 5 star. It was not cozy or swanky. The service was slow and the food was not exceptional. The resort needs some better food options and ambiance which they are currently remodeling other dining options so we hold out hope, the rest of the experience was fabulous.
Excellent food and service! It was enjoyable to sit on the patio by the pool with live music in the background; we could easily hold a conversation while the musicians played. The food did take a little while to arrive, but that's common these days due to staffing shortages.
