Bidra med feedbackWe've eaten twice in this place and the food is great. All the dishes we tried were delicious, even the seafood. I always avoid seafood from buffets, but here it is fresh and very well made.
I've been here twice in the past 6 months or so. I like the selection of items and found plenty of yummy items. I find the price to be very reasonable for unlimited food. I love their doughnuts, dumplings, soups, and spare ribs.
The seasoning in the dumplings was unbalanced, with some flavors being too mild while the ginger was overpowering. The chicken in the orange chicken dish was quite fatty and lacked flavor. The fried rice was just average and had a dry texture.
King Buffet has always been my go-to spot for Chinese food, but this recent experience has likely been my last. The orange chicken tasted overwhelmingly fishy, rendering it almost inedible; I ended up throwing away 90% of it, and my roommate even spat hers out. I usually order the beef lo mein, but unfortunately, it made me feel sick, so that went in the trash as well. I also ordered soup, but after the two disappointing dishes, my roommate and I decided not to risk it and discarded that too. I'm giving this a 2-star rating because King Buffet is typically decent, and the portions are large enough to serve as multiple meals. When it's fresh, it's acceptable, but you need to be cautious because when it misses, it really misses.
The food was not very good; it was cold and had a chewy texture, likely from sitting out for hours. I was concerned about the safety of eating it. You really need to pay more attention to your food quality.
