Nonpareil - Belvidere

The small, rustic atmosphere allowed us to conversate with friends while enjoying our own wine, excellent service and a delicious meal. the spinat garlic soup was amazing, and the crab cakes were perfect! the hot melted chocolate with biscottis rounded off our evening.

This restaurant is very unique. it is as if you step back in time. there is always a movie that plays while you speak. when we were there, it was: “kill a mockingbird”. How could you go wrong? I was disappointed to see that the fried sprouts were not on the menu, although I said they will be on the east brunch! a great replacement was the spicy flower tummy. everyone should try this restaurant once. it's quite different. I recommend it for a fun culinary experience.

This little jewel on water st in belvidere always surprises me. I took some friends here and everyone comes enchanted by the ambiente and impressed by the farewell. limited menu changes? does not know how often.

I can't say enough good things about nonpareil. I even have my daughter baby shower. scott is a great cook.

A great find nearby my home. Drive past this place for years and never thought to give it a try. Small and cozy setting maybe 6 or 7 tables inside a candy store. Unique! Food was great and service was friendly. Will definitely come back.
