Keenan's At The Pier - Bellingham

How this restaurant has 4.1 stars is beyond me. The food is mediocre at best. Three of us had the fish and chips and they were all over cooked. The service was three stars but the food was one and a half. The Ambiance wasn't as fantastic as I had heard from friends who raved over this restaurant. It was okay. All said, no need to return here.

I have been here a few times. The view is nice and the food is always good. I try to visit this place whenever I go to Canada. You can also walk out on the dock

Nice place. Ok service and food. Not bad, just could be better for the price. The place was full, I arrived as a single and was seated right away. Great start. I knew what I wanted so ordered the cioppino. While waiting I enjoyed the view although it was a drizzly evening. The cioppino arrive and was good. I would have thought some bread would come with it but no. A server never came back to check on me so I never had a chance to ask.

Pretty great restaurant. Obviously, you cannot beat the location or the view... Sitting right on the Pacific Ocean staring at the sun setting is pretty hard to beat. All the food is good, limited menu for sure. But that allows them to specialize. We have been here a number of times, and the service is always top shelf as well. All of that to say, it is not cheap. So expect to pay more and your expectations will be met. And a lot of their cocktails they have their own personal spin on, including even make their own tonic, which is fantastic.
