The Waffler - Bellevue

Tried to make a reservation for 5 people but was told it was not possible. Arrived on time to find the place almost empty. Made an order for waffle and cream with scrambled egg and bacon and a chicken waffle sandwich. The waffle was cold , the eggs over cooked and the bacon was tough. The chicken sandwich was huge. My husband would have ordered a half sandwich if the menu had mentioned it. The waffles were too thin and they did not offer a pecan waffle which every waffle place offers. I realize that the place is new but they need some quality control. My husband said his sandwich was very good but too big.

The waffle at this restaurant is decent, thanks to the talented chefs. However, the main issue lies with the manager or boss who appears to lack basic customer service skills. He is always stationed at the front counter with a standoffish attitude. When asked a question, he responds with a condescending tone. He fails to check in with customers at their tables and seems oblivious to the importance of providing a positive dining experience. Despite this, the restaurant does offer nice mimosas, although they could be larger for the price. Overall, the service could greatly improve with a more customer-friendly manager.

I have visited this restaurant several times, and each time the food has been amazing! My favorite dish is the Northwest breakfast, which includes thin waffles, eggs, delicious bacon, and perfectly seasoned home fries. I can't get enough of their seasonal mix!

My companion and I shared two coffees and split a breakfast burrito at this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised to also receive a salad and potatoes. Everything was fresh, delicious, and the service was quick and friendly. We will definitely return to try more items.
