Haidilao Hot Pot Irvine - Bellevue

This is an excellent hot pot restaurant. The meats, fish, seafood, and vegetables are all fresh. We tried four different broths—Miso, Thai, Bone, and Chili—and they were all delicious. The atmosphere is casual yet enjoyable.

Once inside, we were seated at a table with a grill and placed our orders through an iPad. I loved watching the little robotic servers collect used dishes as they moved around the restaurant. The sauce bar was impressive, offering a wide variety of options, albeit with some extra items that weren't just sauce ingredients. We ordered Wagyu beef along with an assortment of vegetables and noodles. The food was delicious, and it was a fun experience to cook the meat and veggies in the broth before enjoying them. We never felt rushed, allowing us to really savor our time there. Additionally, there were complimentary condiments, drinks, and snacks available outside! I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to returning.

This Haidilao offers live performances, noodle dancers, and a delightful selection of seasonal dishes. I've visited for birthdays and dates, and the fresh vegetables and meat always impress the group. I suggest opting for the spicy soup bases only if you can handle strong spice; they might not be the best choice for those with sensitive stomachs. Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available.

Great experience at this downtown Bellevue hot pot! First of all the service by Mei was top notch, she patiently explained all the soup options and gave us her favorite proteins and veggies. Our favorite soups were the tom yum and the spicy Szechuan (warning: this one is NUMBING hot! , the mushroom soup was decent but really needs to marinate for a while to get flavorful. Really enjoyed the crown daisy/chrysanthemum, the shrimp were huge, and the short rib was tasty! And at the end you get a free ice cream cup as you leave! The price will keep this from being a regular dinner outing, but if I'm in the mood for hot pot this will be at the top of my list!

I already gave a 5 star review before but wanted to write another because we received really good service from our server Rachel today! She was super sweet and helpful, constantly came by to make sure we were doing okay. The food is good but servers at this location definitely make us want to keep coming back. They also have cute little Miffy goodies you can purchase at the front for a decent price.
