Bidra med feedbackGiven the plaza was bustling with cars and the other restaurants were busy (including the new Dick's drive-through), I should have suspected something was off when I noticed nearly every table at Firenze, both inside and outside, was vacant. Nonetheless, we decided to sit at a table for two outside at 6:30 PM. By 6:55, the only server came by to take our drink and food orders. At 7:00, a non-English-speaking busboy in a dirty apron brought us some stale bread along with oil and vinegar, and at 7:10, our salads and my glass of wine arrived. Unfortunately, the glass had a small chip on the rim that cut my lip. As more diners arrived, we saw less and less of our server, who was running around in a frenzy. We managed to communicate with the busboy for more bread and water refills, but he didn’t understand about replacing the wine glass. Finally, when my tortellini alla panna and my wife's gorgonzola chicken arrived at 7:45, our server promptly replaced my wine and glass. Despite promising to bring us new silverware (which had been taken away after the salad) and fresh ground pepper for our meals, we waited over five minutes while our food sat there getting cold. I got up to find the server inside. Spotting him in the main dining room, with two small groups waiting to be seated, he directed me to a table that the busboy was setting up and handed me two sets of utensils from a nearby table. Not wanting to wait any longer, I grabbed a pepper mill from an outside station on my way back. There was no apology given, nor could any apology make up for the experience we endured.
The servers at this restaurant are consistently nice, friendly, and cheerful! The food is quite good, although the prices are just okay. However, I’m not a fan of the bread they serve—it's not very appetizing to me. Additionally, the food isn’t always served warm, and the portion sizes are on the small side. This place is a charming little Italian restaurant located at Crossroads; it may be a bit outdated, but it still has a cute vibe!
Dining at Firenze was an amazing experience! Our waiter, Alex, took excellent care of us from the moment we walked in until we left. Although our food took a bit longer than we anticipated to arrive at our table, Alex ensured that we were well looked after while we waited. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS, and we will definitely be returning!
Nice atmosphere. Bread was ok, salad was decent, and pasta was good but could’ve been warmer. Everyone who worked there was very nice
Went for lunch on Saturday. The restaurant was empty but decided to give it a try. Food was too salty, Parmesan cheese to sprinkle on pasta was store bought, prices were extremely overpriced. Could not finish the meal. Will be avoiding going here in the future.
