Wimpy's Diner - Belleville

This evening we tried Wimpy’s for the first time after a co-worker of my husbands recommended it. Our server was sweet and attentive, but the food was not. My hubby ordered the Wimpy’s double famous burger and I had the beef dip. My beef dip was okay, but definitely didn’t have enough beef on it and my fries were undercooked. My husbands meal was not good at all. He ended up taking his burger apart and only eating the bun and toppings. The hamburger Patties was not the quality we wouldExpect. Yes they are larger the the typical patty you would get at a fast food place, but unless you covered them in ketchup, they did not taste good. We tried to explain to our server who was apologetic, but unfortunately I don’t think she understood what we meant when we said they tasted not good and like old processed meat. After reading thru comments, maybe if we had ordered breakfast it might have been a more positive experience. Would not recommend the burger to anyone. Way over priced for a burger that isn’t eatable.

Both my wife and I hadn't been to a Wimpy's dinner in over 25 years, so we decided to check one out in Belleville.The restaurant was super clean and well decorated, and the service was friendly.The food was great, but the only negative was that beer is sold in bottles only at about the same price as a pint at other establishments.We both ordered the Southern Fried Chicken. It was great.Would recommend it to anyone.

Our server was amazing at lunch on a Tuesday being pretty steady. She was super attentive/ accommodating and friendly to my 2 year old.Food was good and hot, portions are big even for the Junior burger.

By far the best breakfast in town! Love the club sandwich, the hot hamburger and so much more! Service is always amazing as well and the oldies music just tops off the whole experience. I can never understand why this place isn't packed when we come. Ya'll are missing out on some great food!

Ordered eggs benny not knowing there were more eggs benny meals to choose frm on menu...she never told me when ordering ..i jst wanted a normal eggs benny it came with tomatos..no bacon...she chose my meal for me...?‍and to make it worse nothing was cooked!frm the eggs benedict to my potatos bacon...when mentioned any of this...they did not offer to take anything off bill...barely ate my meal...
