Tim Hortons - Belleville

I live in Madoc, 35 minutes from Belleville. An appointment for completion of the exhaust work and was said it would be a few hours. While I went along the N.Front street, I decided to get a coffee. When I was greeted, I asked her by an employee if that was a seat and was said yes. She said she needed my name and phone number in the case of Covid Laden exposure, I was fine with it. She asked me if I was local, I said no, I live in Madoc and my truck was in the garage for repairs. She said Sit downs was just for locals, you know the Covid thing. That was and is the last time I protected Tim Hortons, PERIOD.

This is the most convenient location near my workplace, but I'm done to be a customer. Staff seem to spend more time avoiding their work than doing what leads to long waiting times. There are insects everywhere in the ad...cases, on the breads where they make sandwiches that jump around the head. It always looks totally unclean. Messy behind the counter, dirty tables and overflowing garbage. Add to this staff that doesn't care about their jobs and it's just a pointless and disgusting place to visit. Huge management problems are obvious.

This restaurant is one of the worst places I have ever been to. My wife was also appalled by the condition of the place during our last visit. The washrooms were incredibly dirty, there were ants in the display case, and flies were landing on most of the food items in the open donut shelf. A young male employee was very rude to my wife and scratched himself while making our sandwiches. We considered throwing all the food away after this terrible experience. The bacon in the sandwiches seemed old and barely edible, likely having been sitting around for a long time. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

Belleville beautiful city is located at the mouth of the Moira River in the bay of Quinte Southern Ontario. Great excursion destination. Good hot coffee and decent service.

I initially thought the salads looked great; however, I was unable to finish mine because it tasted terrible past the top layer. The restaurant should consider removing it from the menu or making improvements.
