Bidra med feedbackDespite the predictions of Gil Scott-Heron in 1970, the Burger Revolution will be televised. Burger Revolution in Belleville, which specializes in made-to-order burgers crafted from local sustainable grain-fed beef and topped with fresh locally-grown produce and cheese, has been featured on the Food Network program Ya Gotta Eat Here for their innovative menu of creative and mouthwatering burgers, poutines, hot dogs, and side dishes in a very casual ambiance at very reasonable prices. There are about a dozen Classic and Signature burgers on the menu which range in price depending upon their complexity from C$9 for the gluten/lactose-free but definitely not flavor-free Utopian veggie burger topped with fresh locally-sourced vegetables to C$17 for the Solidarity beef burger topped with cheddar, pulled pork, and cole slaw. Portion sizes were very filling. ANY of the innovative and tasty burgers on the menu can be made with either a beef patty or a veggie patty. I wish I 'd known that before I ordered! Craving something lighter after a long drive to Belleville, I opted for the Utopian C$9 , a well-sized freshly-made falafel-style veggie patty made from chickpeas, onions, corn, peas, and carrots, and topped with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, mustard, ketchup, and mayo served on a soft brioche bun, and added a Diet Coke and a side of crisp and thinly-cut french fries for C$4.50. My veggie burger was very tasty; the fries were perfectly seasoned. I was surprised and vaguely disappointed that the fried pickles that feature prominently on the Propaganda burger are not available as a standalone side dish. Service was very friendly and the food was served very quickly despite the crowd of 15 hungry patrons that showed up for dinner just before closing. Will definitely return next time I 'm in the area! Pro Tip: Check out the SECRET MENU on their website [hidden link] featuring even MORE innovative burgers, hot dogs, and poutines.
Great spot for burgers! Good poutine, and a very decent sofa selection. Vegans and gluten free friends seem to enjoy their food too!
Simply amazing! I am at a loss for words to describe how incredible this burger experience was.
Featured on 'You Gotta Eat Here ', Burger Revolution is a small simple place with one of the best burgers in Southern Ontario! You walk in and see the menu written on this massive chalkboard that covers the entire back wall. All kinds of toppings to choose from, different buns, great fresh cut fries/onion rings, creative burger combinations (or build your own) and the service is very knowledgable and friendly. Even their logo is great. The staff wear these really cool Burger Revolution t-shirts. Loved the branding so much I had to buy a t-shirt!
It was a rainy day in Belleville, where the air was a bit chill. Out in a park shelter, we sat watching the roaring river. On a whim I gave a shot, to a popular local lunch spot. Burger Revolution! A place with even the gusto, to follow a manifesto. Beef flame-grilled slowly, and topped with fresh ingredients prepped daily. Give the people what we want; bold flavours between pretzel buns. For no rhyme or reason, The Rebel burger was stacked with potato chips, roasted garlic mayo, avocado spread, jalapeños cheddar cheese. Yes, potato chips. The combined flavours hit the palate as a mouthful of juicy meat enhanced by these crisp, buttery, spicy notes. Satisfaction! Small wonder this huge burger was among the people's choice. As for the kid's meal, a 2.5oz Napoleon burger was aptly named for the short-statured revolutionary; but bland from basic toppings. Onion rings rounded out lunch, which our kid happily devoured instead. Burger Revolution has a creative menu ranging from classics to the Bohemian with peanut butter Chèvre Guevara with goat cheese! A secret menu was on the restaurant wall. Inside, the owner was very patient friendly. I was also impressed by their fan apparels. Not that surprising, as it's been popular locally for over the past decade. Viva la Revolution!
