Bidra med feedbackTh restaurant is tastefully decorated thanks to the previous owner who only lasted a few years. When I read that a passionate Italian had taken over and was going to be serving good Italian food, I was excited, despite the number of places serving Pizza in Bellegarde over 20 . There were so many front of house staff, and even kitchen staff from what we could see, for not that many customers. I don 't see how they can sustain that. The service was mediocre at best. Disorganised and lacking attention to detail. The food was bland and overpriced €20 for a risotto!!! In Bellegarde . Although nobody in my party had the Risotto, based on what we did eat, we 're glad we didn 't. Pizza with dough that has not matured, too thick, lacking salt, and burned on the bottom in a non wood oven. Rubbery tasteless cheese, and a simple addition requested on the pizza was ignored. I cannot say how high our hopes were for this place, or how disappointed we were. Poor food The Tiramisu was probably the best of a bad lot, even it was lacking in flavour no liquor not in all tiramisus anyway and not enough coffee taste, but it was OK lacking in flavour and love, with supposedly an Italian crew in the kitchen. Italians are passionate about their food, perhaps they were trying to adapt it to the french market? If so, restaurants should stop doing this as the quality of food speaks for itself and does not need adapting. It is so sad to see that this, among so many local restaurants, is serving, at best, mediocre food, with poor service at prices too high for what is being served. The dumbing down of the french palette and the bad food people accept has got to silly levels. So sad in a country with such a gastronomic heritage. Poor food, poor service, not a lot going for it I 'm afraid.
Horrible dishes, a disappointing restaurant. The Italians who do not honor their country that had to hunt them for their mentality.
I had a good time, but the waiter didn't clean our table when he served us. After checking, it's a good place, just before the new year, there were 2 high tables on the terrace.
