Le Continental Cuisine Francaise Fruits De Mer Homard Steak Flambé

This is pretty much my favourite restaurant in the world anywhere! I mean that. Having just come back from Napa, California where I ate at THAT restaurant, I can say without reservation that this is a better dining experience in every way. A few years ago, we ate our way through New York's best places, and the only thing that comes close to this was Daniel. Anyway, steaks are thick, juicy, and perfectly cooked. Home of the best Caesar salad I've ever had too! This place is simply perfection. If you want what is for sure the best steakhouse experience in Canada, go here!

*Update* Visited for a second time today ordered one medium rare filet mignon and the other medium. Both were cooked to perfection, and Chateaubriand was also delicious. Excellent service, staff were attentive and friendly. It was lovely to sit by the window as well. Will come back again and recommend to others! (Older review) Lamb was good. Filet was charred on the outside too much and the sauce tasted burnt. Been to much better steakhouses else where. Service was somewhat all over. The waiter put down the empty pot right on our sidetable when cooking for another table. There were other empty tables or service cart that he could have used or just take our tableside cart away if he wanted to use it.

Very fancy style to the entire place, it feels like your walking into a dinner party with Jane Austen. Full waitstaff in tuxedos, rich carpet, beautiful artwork. The chef flambeed shrimp infront of us which was served with rice and carrots. Their was complimentary bread and butter which tasted fresh baked and was delicious. The shrimp was delicious too. The rice and carrots were only okay though and wanting in flavor and texture. I would definitely eat here again though. I enjoyed the shrimp and the atmosphere.

The waiter cooks your steaks tableside, so it makes for a great experience. The Filet Mignon was excellent. The Scallops with Caviar on top was exquisite. The Rack of Lamb was really good as well. All around great experience and good food.

Absolutely the finest food we had all week! So flavorful delicious! Wait staff table-side cook were fantastic. This level of quality comes with a higher price tag, but it is utterly worth every penny. The Continental is a MUST for fine dining Quebec!
