Uncle Koko's Woodfired Pizzaria

The dough is clean and crisp. I am exploring different types of dough and ovens. The pizza here is tasty, but I think they should use a different dough and temperature on slower days. They have talented dough artists here. It seems like they have prioritized speed and the number of customers, but the quality is still excellent. It would be even better if they had more customers. It reminds me of the Italian village, but I think it's better. They make real wood-fired pizza here. Everything else is just a copy. They put the sauce on top of the cheese. I wonder if they have a location near Pittsburgh.

Whenever I get the chance to visit Belle Vernon, I usually stop by this restaurant. I love their pizza, especially the amazing crust. During my last visit, I ordered a large paprika pizza but was a bit disappointed to find only one piece of pepperoni on each slice, and some slices had none at all. The pizza was also greasy and a bit overcooked. This was the first time I left feeling slightly underwhelmed after multiple visits. I may have set my expectations too high, but I noticed a new pizza maker this time who didn't seem to have the same touch as the previous ones I had encountered. While I used to consider this place the best for pizza, this recent experience was a bit lackluster.

I traveled from Uniontown to try this place twice. Both times, they were out of pizza. The customer service was lacking. I will not be trying this restaurant again.

GREAT pizza, love the horror movie décor. Even have some good looking merchandise,No refills on drinks, trying to get plastic wear or pepper flakes is like pulling teeth.The food is awesome but need to step up on the dine-in experience to get 5 stars.
