Charlie's Bistro - Toorbul Point

This restaurant has a friendly staff and offers great value with their Roast of the day (Lamb). The gravy and Yorkshire pudding were delicious, and they have good prices and specials. It is definitely worth a visit if you are on Bribie!

First time visiting today food was great and very reasonably priced. Bistro was quite busy but all staff where very accommodating and friendly especially the Hotel Manager Chris who went out of his way to speak to diners and make sure everyone was happy. The Easter event was very well put together and the kids had a great time. Would highly recommend!

Thursday night a group of 10 adults came along for the Christmas in July special. Could not fault the table decorations, service and or food. Amazing night fun and laughter thank you Charlies team it was great.

Yesterday, I visited the restaurant on Easter Saturday. Despite being busy, the staff handled the crowd well. The kids enjoyed the entertainment provided, and all the staff were lovely. I ordered the eye fillet steak, which was the best steak I have ever had. I will definitely be returning as the prices are excellent and the restaurant is child-friendly.

This hotel has undergone multiple transformations over the years, with the most recent one creating a comfortable and attractive dining/function area. The Caravan theme, featuring a partially deconstructed old van and historical photos, evokes memories for those who have visited Bribie Island as a holiday destination. We opted for a set meal package, and the management and staff handled some last minute changes with calm and courteous efficiency - a true credit to the manager. The air-conditioned area provides a nice view of the channel and the bridge, while the gaming room and public bar are situated far enough away to not be intrusive. The children's play area/room is also separate but visible from the dining area, showing that thought has been put into making this hotel a family-friendly meeting place all around.
