Used as a stopover in motorhome . quite simply the best pub meal we have ever experienced. far more like a 5 star restaurant. excellent service and dog friendly. most certainly would return.!!!

You just do not get better choice, service or food. It was so good to be back.

Been here twice this week as up in Northumberland on holiday. We were a group of four and all of us loved the food- three courses each on both occasions. Great value, friendly staff and amazing food. Don't be put up by the appearance of the building (looks a bit tatty from outside) as the quality of food and decor inside makes up for it. Will definitely visit on my next trip to the area.
