The egon chain of restaurants in norway as trustworthy by eating quite a lot the same everywhere, not too expensive, and not much of one waiting for their order. the Bekkestua joint was opened with the new shopping center. it is a good size over. two floors, friendly decor and smiling waiter. no sweat.

Worst Egon ever. Bad service and bad food. The waiter was rude and not polite at all

We ordered different dishes with fish and they were both very nice. And the staff was friendly. Once you know how it works; find a table and see what number it has so you can go and order and pay at the bar before you...return to the table and wait for your food to arrive. Having finished the meal you can enjoy the benefit of being able to leave anytime you want not having to try to attract the attention of a waiter to ask for the bill and then wait for it, which both sometimes can take far too long.
