Oriental Chef - Bedford

The worst Chinese I have ever had. If I could have given minus I would. I had chicken and cashews. The chicken had been boiled so tasteless. It had 2 pieces of carrot. Mostly it was both bamboo shoots and waterchestnut both of those I hate. There simply was no taste. I also had the wonton soup. The liquid was dark and gluggly. Everywhere else in the world I have had this soup, the liquid was clear and extremely tasty. Nothing about this meal was nice. My brother had the chicken chowmein. This too lack flavour. Our chowmeins, are crammed with vegetables. The pancake rolls were nearly passable but only because we added sauce. The highlight was the prawn crackers. Never again for us. I posted a review months ago ......no response from owner so I posted a second comment..... still nothing from owner ...... I think its pretty bad business.......... My son n I had a takeaway from here 2mths ago ..... My review hasn 't received any communication at all ...where I 've noticed the. ' good ' reviews have ...... Didn 't enjoy the meal at all ..... Parking: Very poor. But not their fault .... First visit to Oriental Chef ....quite possibly the last ......,rice was bland ......my beef n toms was tasteless........ My son had special fried rice ....he said there wasn 't as much in it as our usual place ....but the sweet n sour chicken balls were good ... We usually go to the one at Springfield centre .. brilliant .....but they were closed ........ Very disappointed in oriental chef....after such good reviews.......
