Bidra med feedbackHello, my wife and I just had an extremely unpleasant experience regarding the store and more specifically the owner of the subway located at 824 Route 100 Bechtelsville, PA. We tried to purchase 4 sandwiches using the app because there was a buy one get one free promotion. There is an option to pay with cash on the app that automatically reverts to charging our paypal or card when authorizing payment without our consent. We contacted the above mentioned store to notify them to cancel the order thinking we had done it erroneously the first time, stating that we wished to pay for our order in cash. The second time we placed the order and chose the option to pay in cash, it again reverted to charging through our PayPal and bank account. We again called the subway at the above mentioned location indicating there was a problem with the app. The person we spoke to raised their voice and told us that we could not choose an option to pay with cash through the app and that our only option was either to pay through the app with our card or they would throw the order in the trash and blatantly refused a refund of what we are being charged for even though we did not plan to get the sandwiches if they refused to accept cash. The egregious and disrespectful manner in which the owner, who would only identify themselves as Jamie P. behaved is completely unacceptable for any business owner, including a franchisee who is supposed to be a representative of a larger entity. I had to contact our bank in order for the payment to be canceled. I completely expect this situation to be rectified fully. I will be posting this on Facebook, Yelp and your corporate site. Once again, completely unacceptable behavior on your franchisee's behalf no matter the circumstance.
Thre electricity went out while we were ordering. The employees did a great job handling the situation until everything came back online. The protein wrap was good. There were no napkins out to grab and none on our trays. Just a small inconvenience
I had a decent and quick sub at this restaurant. The young lady at the counter was very friendly. The place was clean and well-maintained.
The woman working there was quite rude to me and my friends. I didn't appreciate her attitude when more customers arrived; she seemed like she didn't want to be part of the Subway community.
What I found particularly concerning was the improper mask-wearing by the staff. Both men had their masks pulled down below their noses, barely covering their mouths. This was quite off-putting, and I don’t think I will return to this location while they are working together. One of them seemed to be training the other and appeared overwhelmed. I would recommend reviewing proper mask-wearing guidelines with your employees.
