Nikki Sushi Steak - Beaverton

Came to try this place for lunch with my kids. We got boba tea from the place next door before entering and we were told we had to leave our (fresh full) ice tea outside of our table area. We went to the restaurant next door instead. I Would have easily spent good money for lunch here and possibly been back many more times for lunch, but will not try again.

Rather expensive and the kids options were just okay. But, for adults, I cannot say anything bad — my wife loved her dishes and they made me vegan sushi. 2 adults and a child was just under 100 dollars.

I have never had a bad experience ordering out or in person. The wait can feel long when eating in, but I go with friends and order drinks. If it seems it's taking a long time 1) note how busy they are 2) You can ask a server. I have been eating here/ordering out for over 5 years. The owners are very nice, the servers are kind and the food is always fresh. Honestly it's a very expensive place, and the food is sub-par for the price. Service was middling too, however I also went during the dinner rush on a weeknight. Do with that what you will. Bad food? Absolutely not. The price doesn't match the taste, though.

Came in for takeout this evening. I placed the order exorbitantly priced and wasn't told until after I paid that there would be a long wait. The hostess was not even slightly sympathetic. Also, for these prices $4 for one piece of ngiri???! I'd expect guest wifi. Nope! Skip Nikki if you're looking for takeout.
