Le Monge - Beaune

Beautiful brewery in the centre of Beaune. Very good address, with high quality regional dishes The room is well decorated (see my pictures) and the service is good with very attentive servers A beautiful and good brewery!

Good brewery. However, we were very surprised at the proximity of the tables in this period of Covid. We had reserved but the restaurant was crowded, the waiting time was a little long but very reasonable. The glass wine map is quite small, I had opted for a red Savigny, real vinegar, but I mentioned it and I was immediately replaced by another reference (although I don't ask my preference). This brewery offers vegetarian dishes, which is not a legion in Beaune. I took a plate of ravioli parmesan mozzarella. If the portion is copyy (see photo), the taste is quite insipid, we look for the parmesan and I had to claim salt so that the dish ran out of seasoning. But otherwise it was pretty good. My daughter chose the duck magret, which was good and beautifully presented. In dessert, we chose the cheese plate. Finally a plate for cheese lovers, which is rare! And a cream burned with pink praline, very good too. We spent a pleasant time in the Monge, despite the noise and expectations generated by a crowded room and the price, a little excessive for a brewery. If the pass is well controlled at the entrance, it would be good to space the tables further to respect the duplicate during this period of Covid. I went back to eat in Monge, special mention for vegetarian burger that is really top!

Thank you for having received us at 2pm with reservation in the morning at 9am, because many restaurants closed in this very tourist weekend of November 1st... Excellent service despite the full room, very good meal for a brewery. Very hot plate, we had to eat the accompaniment salad very quickly to avoid it being "cuite". We ate well, 4 stars for fries that are not home, though very good.

Very good address. Excellent dish. A great pleasure to have discovered Le Monge.

Very good restaurant brewery spirit! Very nice welcome! Super friendly, dynamic team that deals well with its tables. Nice map with a wide choice! To the point of being returned a second time! Don’t forget to book because very busy!
