Bidra med feedbackWe ate here for the first time recently and were pleasantly surprised. The decor felt like a more typical NJ Mexican place so we weren't sure what to expect. The food however speaks clearly of family. You can tell they are making the food and doing so with home cooking style. The staff are friendly and helpful, however, the service is slow. This is in part due to the large number of take out orders. And also because they are clearly cooking the food as it's ordered. We were very happy with our dishes, the Chile relleno was tasty, the chicken fajitas was great and ample. We loved the homemade guac and warm tortillas and the truly spicy salsa picante. A definite place to go.
Inflation? Who? The portions here are insane for the price. You need to come here. The meat was so soft and with tons of flavor.
Authentic family owned gem in Bayonne for the past 7 years. Huge flat screen and the best tamales, huaraches and tres leches. Really nice space. No bar, lovely but slow service. Restroom and decent prices; they accommodate substitution and mixed tacos and fajitas but at a high up charge. Overall, delicious and a lot of food. Took a lot of leftovers home so great for family/special occasions and dinners with friends.
Everything is delicious, fresh and authentic. From los tamales, to la torta de chorizo y huevo to the shrimp burrito. Ohh! Can't forget about the homemade orchata! Always impressed and delighted. A must go and definitely affordable
I absolutely adore this place! The authentic Mexican cuisine is fantastic, and they serve the best guacamole I've ever had.
