The Ashwood Bourbon Bar is a hip restaurant just outside the main strip in Bayfield. The staff are super friendly and the decor is very nice. The also have a huge patio area as well. The burger and catch of the day (red snapper) were outstanding. The fried chicken and waffles was just okay. It was cooked perfectly but the batter on the chicken was not my favourite. The food presentation was excellent and we really enjoyed our butter tart dessert. I would definitely recommend the Ashwood Bourbon Bar.

My wife and I ate here for diner while staying at the inn. The food was absolutely superb. We order the Scallops as an appetizer and had the homemade burger and the mussels as our main course. The food was amazing the chef does some of these dishes in a unique way that I have never experienced before. The price is also reasonable compared to some of the other restaurants in the area. Highly recommended.

We are staying at the Ashwood Hotel. The restaurant was amazing. Our server was very friendly, gave great suggestions, and even played along with our 5 year old daughter as his "assistant waitress." We had the greatest Caesar to mankind. They even gave us a picture after. My blue cheese bacon burger was the best I've had. It's refreshing to have such friendly service and a place that wants you to have a great experience. We will be back for sure.

The food at the ashwood is very good. We had a burger that was vert flaverful tha place is lovely inside. Tha oysters are to die for. The servive was excellent as well as the chef the drinks were good also with local beers.
