Yamato Hibachi Sushi - Bay City

The hibachi grill is in the kitchen not in the dining room. The sushi rolls are tiny. Argumentive and dishonest staff. For example, the peppered tuna on the menu looks like it would be sliced as thick as four Washington quarters. Instead, we were served five small slices thinner than a Roosevelt dime. Rather than fix the problem they created, they decided to lie saying that the tuna comes pre sliced that way. I asked if I could speak to the chef and they wouldn't let me. I

Always delicious food! I love their dumplings. And my daughter loves The Bay City Roll. The establishment is always clean. And the staff very kind and friendly.

We have a really nice time at Yamato's. The atmosphere is inviting. The layout is good. The food is splendid. I especially like that they offer a healthy menu. I'm on a whole30 diet and their healthy menu is compliant as long as you don't eat the sauce.

Had a late lunch at Yamato Hibachi Sushi with my hubby there yesterday and we were very impressed with the appearance, menu, food and service. This will be our new favorite spot in town.

Was great was a bit of a wait due to a lack of wait staff but the food was amazing and the staff was great well go back with family and friends
