Completely over price. eating was at best mediocre. black bear lodge tries to be something they are not. I ordered the first rib sandwich. my first red flag should have been when the waitress never asked how I wanted my steak. their answer was that they did not do this for the prime rib sandwich. when my food came, it was open on a pan that faced the Ciabatta role. the floor was approx. 1/4 inch thick, gray in color and no life left. my sister from the next table could see it gray and completely open, was completely boiled. when I tried to cut it, it was very difficult and the upper half of the roll flew. in addition to it completely boiled over the consistency of shoe leather, it also had no taste. it took one because the waitress to come back to our table after the delivery of our orders, so after I had explained to our waitress what was wrong and I had to send him back, I decided not to order anything else. it would have simply been taken after long and completely open from the nibbles that were offered to me, eating was lacking in several areas.

Prime Rib 18oz was excellent!! The best I've ever had... we had two half pounds of Bacon Burger, which was also excellent... Half the ribs were also excellent! Chicken bacon ranch wrap was also excellent... Every food we have ever ordered here is perfect and great cook and excellent staff also!! I recommend this place to everyone! Worth the money!

Best gluten-free cake EVER. I fled to the ceiling after a bite. Dinner and service were also amazing. The high stands feel private and beautiful place to visit and catch.

This place has a great atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, with many options to choose from. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Absolutely phenomenal! Nice place, great service, and if you love a good steak like me, it is one of the few places I found that a rare steak can cook properly. If you're in the area, make this stop a priority. You won't regret it!
