Triplet's Blue Store Chicken

I always get the chicken and I?m always satisfied. It?s fresh it?s hot it?s awesome!!!!

First time going to this location. On 10.29.2022 Saturday. Entrance clean, inside clean, two male cashiers very inviting, waiting less than two minutes, food placed on plate neat, (3 wings fried golden brown, fries hot and edible, two eggs rolls good) no complaints on this review but will go again, so I'll see what happens then but for now overall experience was great. I ate most of my fries on my way home to good to let get cold.

I would rate it around 2.5. The chicken tenders were generously sized and served hot, but they were quite tough. There was a large portion of fries, but everything was excessively salted. The girl at the counter barely looked up from her phone, and I noticed one employee picking at his face right after putting on his apron, while another licked his fingers before handling something in the kitchen. I didn't see either of them wash their hands, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt since they didn’t seem to touch any food immediately afterward. Overall, it felt a lot like cheap gas station food.

The chicken is consistently tasty, well-seasoned, and served hot. The red beans and rice were also enjoyable—rich in flavor and quite hearty.

I was truly impressed by how good everything we tried was. The potato logs, bone-in chicken, and chicken tenders exceeded my expectations. The portions of the chicken and potatoes were quite generous compared to most places. I would definitely choose this spot for fried chicken over my usual favorites. My favorite dish, however, was the shrimp fried rice—it's the best I've had in Baton Rouge. We will definitely be returning often!
