Henry Turner Jr's Listening Room is a hidden treasure. The ambiance is warm, charming, and relaxed. The seating is well-organized, offering everyone a great view of the stage. The staff is exceptionally polite and welcoming, creating a down-to-earth vibe that's full of nostalgia. The entry fee is very affordable. They also offer non-alcoholic drinks, and included in the cover charge was a delicious fish fry featuring catfish, French fries, and hush puppies. The artists performed a variety of music styles, including blues, funk, gospel, and rock. A standout performance by April "Sexy Red" Jackson was a highlight, and Henry Turner Jr's performance was outstanding. There was also a comedian who entertained the audience between sets. Henry Turner Jr's Listening Room could really benefit from more local support—it's genuinely authentic! If you find yourself in Baton Rouge on a weekend, be sure to check it out; you're in for a delightful experience.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant, where talented musicians played original Blues music in a lively and inviting atmosphere. This is an opportunity you won't want to miss!

It was nice to listen to some live music. Mr Turner has an amazing voice. It was a turn down that it took us awhile to find the building (no lights/signs). Reviews speak highly of the place that's why I wanted to check it out but I'm thinking that was all before covid. There was only 4 people there so very light crowd. For others looking to go here, it's cash only you pay $10 to get in and there is no alcohol served.

The Best I have ever been to. I love the family oriented atmosphere.
