Bidra med feedbackI grew up in Lafayette with an Iranian stepfather, so I've been eating at Zeus since I was a kid, which makes me quite partial to them. In comparison, Albasha's chicken had way too much cardamom, and you could definitely tell that their gyro contained a lot more beef than lamb. Zeus provides a drink with their combo plate and makes their hummus in-house, all for four dollars less. Dry chicken is one thing, but the pita was tough. Overall, this meal did not feel worth the fifteen dollars. I was very disappointed.
It was OK the chicken was a little salty and the serving size was small compared to the price $13/platter). However, the hummus and salad were delicious and fresh. The Lebanese tea was delicious as well.
I visit this restaurant about twice a week because my roommate and I have developed a bit of an obsession. Regardless, the service is consistently excellent, and so is the food. The staff is incredibly friendly, and I've never had an issue with my order.
I ordered through DoorDash and was pleased with how well the food was packaged and how quickly it arrived. The presentation was impressive too. However, I was disappointed to find that the Lebanese tea now comes in a bottle—I was really hoping for the pibe nuts. The chicken and gyro were quite bland, almost like they had been boiled, and the grape leaf rolls also lacked flavor. On the bright side, the hummus and salad were excellent, and I received a generous portion of pita bread, which was a nice touch.
Excellent quality at a fantastic price! It's a pleasure every time I visit. The staff is always friendly. Food: 5/5
