Beautiful second floor view and ventilation, large section plated with right on spot portuguess taste
Large café with Portuguese menu. It's more than just the delicious pastries. the seating area on the upper floor is bright and airy. The menu area is limited, but what they do is good. Service on our visit was a little disjointed between the 3 servers. One of them was training, so certificates were made, and perhaps this was the cause.
Friendly welcome that is always beautiful. They could see the river from the big windows above that were open, the ventilation. The tapas were decent portions. My husband and I had 5 small plates between us and it was about right. Some of the dishes like the salt meadow fritters could accompany a sauce or diving, but they were all delicious and fresh. The octopus salad was perfectly cooked. We took away a big pastis de nata tart when we visited family this evening and there was a treat! I would recommend it.
The staff make our lunch much much better, The quality of the food and the service it was more than excellent! Perfect food, perfect service, perfect environment. The clams, octopus salad and picanha they are the best choice we eat here in England! A special word for the Portuguese waiter and the Portuguese chef. Keep going, very very very well done! Thank you!
