La Croissanterie

This restaurant in Bath is the best value for tea. The prices are not touristy and the cakes and sandwiches/panini are really well-made. The seating may be a bit cramped, but we were impressed both times we visited at noon and in the afternoon as there were seats available in the upper floor coffee shop. The small frontage might be easy to miss, but it is worth looking for. The service was excellent with waiters bringing up the food. In January 2020, the prices were superb with £8 for two pots of PG Tips tea and two cakes, and just £10.30 for two teas and two very tasty paninis made to order and served with a side salad. These prices are unheard of in some Bathonian restaurants! We went back the next day and will definitely return on our next trip to Bath.

While traveling on our tour bus and in need of a quick bite to eat, we decided to stop at a restaurant and ordered a standard chicken sandwich with tomato and cucumber. To our delight, it turned out to be the best meal we had during our trip. We highly recommend stopping by if you happen to be in the area.
