Choco L'art Café - Batdambang

The hot chocolate is proper French style dark hot chocolate served in a bowl. I can't even remember what else I had, a crepe I think, it's worth it for the hot chocolate alone. Floor cushions and staff are v friendly

Lovely food, Great coffee, funky Cambodian mod cafe. Tasty Cambodian ice coffee; beaut brushetta only $2, warm French bread, fresh tomato. Pleasant local art on the high walls. Plus, this street doesn't flood like some of the others do.

Had the English Breakfast : one fried egg, two pieces of bacon, REAL BREAD, no butter. Lavazza coffee in a French press. The bacon was hot, but soft, which might not be up to NA tastes (I 'm Canadian) who prefer their bacon crisp. The soft bacon paired well with the delightful French bread, which was not served with butter, which wasn 't needed because that was enough lipids for one morning. Excellent coffee, but they didn 't have the social justice coffee listed on their menu. Lovely service. We haven 't tried their chocolate specialties, so I might have to go back before we leave Battambang.

I stopped because of the rain for coffee, snack and Wi-Fi. There was no Wi-Fi (3rd June 2020 . Caramel crepe was nice but the iced milk coffee wasn't good (I left 50% of it . The coffee was very strong and tasted like prepared-ahead refrigerated black coffee, it also was quite powdery (filter issues? . Hopefully the place will be more efficient/better after Corona time with more customers. I recommend this place anyway as I believe it was probably better some other days. The location is also really good in the old town.

There's food really good here! It was so nice that I had my dinner there, but then the next morning for my breakfast/lunch went back! The staff is nice and so friendly and it is good value for money, quite cheap! I had fresh spring rolls, khmer fried noodles with chicken and a chicken sandwich (I ate half of it before I remember making a photo)
