Bidra med feedbackWe were recommended to this restaurant by locals we met at another dinner. the food was fabulous and the prices were quite reasonable. the staff was very friendly. try it when they are in the opposite! the environment is just beautiful.
Really good and delicious vegetarian meal. and of course the main course after my man was really great!
One of the best dinners we had in Corsica. we started with a wine tasting, where we were led by a very competent and friendly restaurant owner (cesar.) we have tried various weine from corsica and had a look into the opposite, the production and some interesting layers. then we have dinner. the restaurant is very cozy, charming and comfortable with a beautiful view over the river and nature. the people who came to the restaurant were nice local, friendly, smiling. that was amazing. perfectly cooked, natural local ingredients, balanced, made to home. I really liked the starter salad with a mint and crumbled sorbet. my friend had an amazing home made pasta with fish that also tasted amazing. great value for money. we had dessert an amazing chocolate that was very special, as the restaurant was a candle in it and every happy birthday sang to my friend. we were very happy and would like to come back!
Incredible location, we sat on the outside, surrounded by nature with a small river next to the terrace. we celebrated a jubilee and they were super helpful for a little surprise for our friends. the food was also top-notch....We would have tried another night again, but we ran out of time. must eat here if they are near ajaccio!
Corsica is all about the coast...except that some of the best experiences are not! Approximately 15 minutes from our Ajaccio accommodation, in a lush little cleft aside a small river, we were really fortunate to discover Auberge du Prunelli that is both a restaurant and...wine cave. Its history starts in the late 19th century (as did some of the gardens and trees that still provide fruits, vegetables and nuts to the restaurant) , and today the tradition of hospitality that began then is carried forward by the family. Valentin Orlandazzi is part of that family, and guided us through our delicious meal and then through the renovated, cozy wine cellar, where special tastings and events are held. Everything on the menu is authentically Corsican and our meals were all locally sourced. The roast goat (cabri roti) and roast potatoes were succulent, the grilled trout cooked perfectly, and the lasagna was delicously unique, infused with the famous Corsican herb Nepeta. It is, indeed, hearty food but prepared with a light and modern twist. As one local told us, The young sons who run the restaurant now are doing a great job of blending tradition and new ideas And he was right. There are many things that will take us back to Corsica...not the least of which is the promise of lunch at the Auberge du Prunelli!
