Brownlow Arms - Bassetlaw

I don't even know where to begin. My weekend camping experience at this restaurant was truly bizarre. The place has clearly been neglected, with dirty surroundings, subpar amenities, and terrible food. To make matters worse, the landlady seemed intoxicated during our visit. I hate to leave a negative review, but I felt it was necessary in this case.

While golfing nearby, we were recommended to try this Pub for dinner. It was a lovely Pub with a wide selection of real ales and a great menu filled with specials. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the meal was really enjoyable.

Had a 30-mile round trip from lincoln and ended here for Sunday dinner. it was a nice day that looked like to eat. I had the roast lamb that was absolutely delicious...tasty and delicate and a beautiful large portion. my cyclists chose the bark and the pig and were all impressed by the portion size. my lamb was under 10 pounds. pork was £7,50 and bark was 8 pounds. insecure! they will direct us for the 15 miles journey to home. will definitely eat again. there is also a campsite on the ground. this is next to the river trent, perfect for long walks!

Call for a meal during the cycle. large beer and fantastic meal times. (sunday dinner) very nice and welcoming. will definitely visit again especially for a meal.

Only went in the beer garden camping site. music played, the sun seemed and the one drink I had was on the square. They also make dinner, but did not stay long enough to try. great performance.
