Sprinkles Gelato - Basildon

I was not allowed a straw for my refill and was informed that straws were only for milkshakes. Additionally, I was told that I could not have extra sugar or lemon on my pancake. My pancake arrived with my ice cream on top, when I wanted it served in a separate dish on the side. The lady wearing a white shirt was unfriendly and made my dining experience unwelcoming.

I came to Sprinkles 29th Sept at 7.30pm and was so disappointed with the experience. A large kids birthday party a few metres away made so much noise it was unbearable. Sounded like a zoo I couldn’t wait to eat my food and leave. They then started running around and climbing on the seats next to us, we then had a waffle thrown on our seat. This isn’t acceptable and kids parties shouldn’t ruin other people’s experiences. A party room would be a good idea. Have emailed twice and still no response!

The service was slow, and the waffles arrived cold, causing the ice cream to not melt. This was a bit disappointing.

Fantastic place to visit, highly recommend a visit! Try the “i love you to pieces” waffles or any of the waffles and pancakes) all awesome. Kids loved sharing one of the sundae jars, delicious! Great service a team as well. It’s 5 stars from us

Rude staff and had to sit and wait too long, and this was a takeaway. Also said at the start wanted it no topping but didn’t listen . Cake was so dry and microwaved which I wasn’t impressed.
