Very good reception, the dishes are excellent with fresh products and qualities. the restaurant offers the best pizzas in Basel!A reservation is however recommended to be certain to have a place in the peak hours.

The pizza to the parmeggiana was exquisite, though enormous. my companions were all very happy with what they served: gnocchi or risotto. good balance quality/price.

Were 2 families to eat at night, at 7:00m, fast, as children had to be in bed at some point. therefore only 5dl open red wine is ordered, which was recommended to us. too warm and above all sour. inappropriate to a warm summer evening. therefore then a bottle of barolo at decent price. we have returned to the open thanks. but was fully charged. don't go, my dear. do not come anymore.

I am a resident of Basel and I find the pizzas in the restaurant "Da Gianni" the best in this town. I recommend this restaurant as a hint for pizzal lovers!

You eat Italian everywhere and always. da gianni is a good address, food is good. The service is alive, the boy is pretty speed... when you see him. because we have to arm ourselves with patience to order, even if the dishes arrive, they quickly after that. The restaurant imposes water in bottle, which is quite curious. The decor is quite basic, but we find a lot of fake modigliani in the windows.
