The best bar in basel. with a lot of things to see and to have a drink. It's allways a lot of fun to be in Schluggstube

The Schluggstube is a rather fascinating bar. The lovely lady at the bar was friendly and most welcoming. I ordered my beverage that was promptly brought over to my table. This place has a bar with stools, padded booths and stools. There are decorations in...the bar in every possible location from floor to ceiling. The place offers every possible beverage you can think of. The restrooms are located under the main TV, but duck your head as you go under as there are decorations hanging down from the wall. A wedding party arrived during my visit and basically took over the entire front area of the bar. They were having a very good time and polite as they were sitting directly behind me. The young lady running the bar was very nice and the atmosphere is so much fun. Highly recommended.

The place was just incredible with amazing music and drinks, the owner is one of a kind, very gentle, charming and full of good energy, a must try when in Basel!!

With friends we found this bar randomly, super nice decoration, the bartender Robert super nice, good welcome, good atmosphere. When I'm back on vacation in Wittenheim I'll go back to Basel to come back for a drink here.
