Union Kitchen - BASALT

Brussel sprouts were great. Meat on chicken and ribs were tender. Would give five stars, but the WAY was laid too heavy and salty. Had to scrape the spices on the ribs and remove the chicken.

Since the opening they have been here regularly. Great brunch on weekends. Try the roasted Okra reviewer, Mac and cheese and salads. Children love the grill sandwiches. The meat combs are pretty hearty updating their menu recently changed but still family-friendly and very local.... look forward to their new lobster Mac and cheese.

If I had been so worried about my wallet, I would have stayed at home, eaten grain and reprocessed my investment portfolio. If I go out to eat, I hope for good food and good service, definitely both of them had here yesterday. I had the Ahi Tuna BLT and my friend had a Cheeseburger. We both swallowed our meals. Large selection of tasty pages also seemed like a transfer from the BBQ days (what we never knew). Will stop again.

We enjoy our visits to Smoke in Basalt. The ambience is great, the service is always on the point that adding food is consistently delicious! The beans and the burned end Mac and cheese are our favorites, and my daughter LOVES the pulled pork sandwich. This place is always a winner for us.

Great little spot I visited for a bite to eat before driving 8 hours the other way. Stopped in mid day and it wasn't busy at all. Had a pretty cool waiter have him a nice tip. If I'm in the area I'll check back in.
