Painted Horse Grille - Bartlesville

The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious. We tried the Not Chos with brisket as an appetizer and the brisket was so tender and flavorful. The owner also owns the ranch where the beef is sourced, and it is truly delicious. I ordered the CluckMac n Cheese and it was the best adult version of Mac n Cheese I've ever had. It was creamy, savory, full of flavor, and had just the right amount of heat from the jalapeños. The chefs at this restaurant really know what they're doing. You won't be disappointed.

Outstanding on all counts! Friendly (yet unobtrusive) service, clean and comfortable dining area, upbeat atmosphere, extensive menu of dishes made with premium ingredients. This place is awesome. Lunch for two (2 entrees, 2 teas, 1 appetizer, 1 pearcider) including tip cost around $70 but that's partially due to our choices being on the upper end of the price spectrum. Wehave to drive 90minutes to get to Painted Horse, but we think it's worth the trip. We'll be back as often as is practical.

Yesterday, we went to the restaurant for my birthday and the staff were extremely pleasant! There was a bit of a wait, but it was understandable as the restaurant was busy. We ordered two drinks, the Hail Mary and The Skyy is Falling. Both drinks were incredibly delicious! The bacon in the Hail Mary was excellent and the drink was perfectly seasoned. The Skyy is Falling was sweet and refreshing.

We have enjoyed everything we have tried at this restaurant - it has all been excellent! The Hog Heaven mac and cheese is deliciously rich, the chicken fried steak is among the best in the area, and the desserts (chocolate and carrot cake) were delightful. For appetizers, we ordered the zucchini fries and fried mushrooms, both of which were fresh and full of flavor. The Painted Horse has a fantastic atmosphere, attentive service staff, and quick bar service. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for a meal. You will leave feeling satisfied and content!

Sat today for a late lunch and they are not disappointed we ordered the grilled cheese with fries and Asian bark tacos plus chips queso. it was delicious. the atmosphere was funny and I recommend a good lunch or a Friday evening with friends.
