Mr Sun's Chinese Take Away

I don’t normally leave negative reviews as i do t like to but this time i felt it necessary. Salt and pepper chips were just simply dry chips that seemed reheated, nothing more. Curry sauce had zero flavour and chow mein were just noodles with cheap meat. I also found a large hair in my food which closed the show for me. Don’t understand the positive reviews as that was a big waste of money and i write the reviews to stop people wasting their hard earned cash .

I have lived in Sunderland all my life and Love Chinese Food and this takeaway is the very best in quality , price and service Can’t fault this place and very friendly What makes the difference is you can watch them cooking your meal whilst waiting

Mixed meat curry with fried rice tasty, huge portion, meat was tender and lean! noodles and beansprouts with a drop of sauce, really moreish and a clean taste. dry bbq ribs monsterous in size, meat fell from the bone salt n pepper chicken wow!!! amazing, a must try!

This is a very good Chinese takeaway. I have rated it four, but it wouldn't take much to be a five. I will definitely be going back. I had garlic and chilli mixed meat, salt and pepper beef, and chips. The garlic and chilli sauce was delicious but quite watery so it didn't stick to the meat. The salt and pepper beef was nice and crispy but a little under seasoned. The chips were perfect. Lovely and crunchy outside, but fluffy inside. staff very friendly, and the place was very clean

This was my first visit here just because it was the nearest to us. It was absolutely beautiful couldn’t fault a thing. Salt and pepper chicken was lovely and crispy not soggy when we got it home. The bbq sauce is a must! I can see why people were happy to still have it delivered when he said 1 1/2hrs delivery We will be back
