Swiss Chalet Rotisserie & Grill

Two dinners bought yesterday. 85 taxes. Boxes rotten, potatoes cold and curing, cold food, staff without idea and slow. I've ordered this chain in the past....ok... this business... never again. Wasted. Buyer Careful.

We took our grandson here for dinner and everyone enjoyed their meal. He tried her poutine huge and well we went with the base quarter chicken (white) with a side salad. Salat was huge and excellent! Pretty consistent food when we go to Switzerland...Chalet.

We ordered to go for my grandson's birthday. The food was hot and delicious. The only reason for a four star is the price. It was a reasonable place to take a family, but not now. Just because it's for a special pleasure and he loves Swiss Chalet we did this for him. Otherwise this could not happen regularly.

Okay...where to start.. I ordered 1\4 chicken dinner 3 times now because I thought it would be better and I always enjoyed the franchise in the past .. reminesant of a house cooked meal... but for the third time I was disappointed! First off.... Share size... I've got a chicken wing bigger than her quarter chicken... where to buy chickens that are small? The Coleslaw, which came back with the meal, was in a sample size part... essentially the size of a quarter coin container a sample... size for the meal...and frits as usual in a plastic packed container take on moisture... are limp and barely hot enough to feel freshly cooked....after in the store that long... why not package fries in paper...not plastic...a handful of frits clear in a container... ...Barrie Ontario ..Canada here ...South End Store...if You want a real meal...forget it....

Oct 23, 2020 Ordered 1/2 chicken combo from drive in, waited 20 min after paying to get food. Then got home and found 1/4 was raw and bleeding! Which explains the weird taste of the 1st bite of the other 1/4. The breast meat was...coral pink and blood not only on the bone but coming out the sides. The skin was not even cooked! Someone took this off the rotisserie and 1/4 'd it and sent it out! I called the manager and pleasantly informed him and he said he would replace the order and send it to me. 2nd order arrived it had been grilled black and was missing items. They need to look at the health dept guidelines for raw chicken: listeria, salmonella etc. I sent the 1st order back with the deliveryman for the manager to see. I won 't eat at Harvey 's/Swiss Chalet again. If an immune compromised/elderly/child consumes raw chicken that is often a fatality. Spoke to District Manager on 27th and was promised a refund which is being forwarded to me today Nov 9. They just made excuses: 5 chickens on a spit made for 4 prevented cooking. Then District manager says spit is made for 5! Why it was grilled black was not explained. They may make changes...maybe.
