Quabbin Pizza Seafood - Barre

I typically visit this restaurant twice a year, in the spring and fall, and always enjoy the fast service and generous portions. The staff always greets me warmly, as if I had just been there yesterday. The restaurant is always clean and the table service for hot items is excellent. I feel welcomed and remembered every time I visit, which adds to the enjoyable dining experience. I am often greeted by a friendly young lady who jokes with me about my love for clams. I placed a takeout order for a large mushroom pizza with extra cheese and a side of mozzarella sticks. When I got home, I discovered that the mozzarella sticks were actually fried mushrooms. I called the restaurant to let them know about the mistake and asked them to deliver the correct order to me, but they refused. They also declined to send a driver to pick up the fried mushrooms or correct the error the next day. This is not the first mistake they have made, so I will not be returning to this restaurant for dine-in or takeout in the future.

Our first time, stopped on our drive to check out the area. First needed to use the restroom. Crotchety older man at front told us It is only for customers. We ordered a calzone with three toppings..pepperoni, ham and mushrooms. In my three pieces I had 1 pepperoni and one ham. When my husband told the lady at the front it was lacking in meat she commented they put more toppings then any other place. Not impressed! Food and service poor...keep driving!

The man answering the phone was very rude. All I asked for was an order of clams and was moving onto other items when he yelled at me You pay me anyways! in reference to a meal he wanted me to buy. Just an explanation would be sufficient if seafood can only be sold as a total meal. Yelling certainly doesn 't help. I 'll never bother him again.

I ordered my favorite grilled chicken and feta cheese pizza and was not disappointed. It was delicious with a thick Greek-style crust, my favorite, and it was ready in just ten minutes. The service was fast and the owners were charming and adorable. I will definitely be coming back again!
