Rice And Roux - Baron Rouge

I ordered from Uber eats and I went pick up my own food. It was suppose to be ready for 1:43 pm. I get there about 1:50. I didnt get my fish I told them not too much rice and had a bunch of rice. Then on top of that she stated it will take 5mins to cook the fish. So I have raw fish. I wouldn't recommend this place. I ordered twice from here and both times were horrible

Order from Ghub Hub, They didn’t even communicate with me. they were out of pork and sausage they just canceled the whole jambalaya ordered and sent red beans and bread pudding. COULD HAVE AT LEAST CALLED TO SAY NO PORK OR SAUSAGE WOULD YOU LIKE ANYTHING ELSE

I either order take out or delivery when I visit family in Louisiana. (Typically every 3 days, LOL) The chicken and sausage jambalaya tastes like the kettle jambalaya I grew up eating in New Roads. The rice is not gummy and there is a good portion of meat in the rice. A serving for 2 actually is enough for 4. I love the food so much that I purchase extra to freeze for my trip back to my home. Thank you Rice and Roux for such great flavor and portions!!!

Fried fish was perfect… But that is NOT REAL GUMBO. Ewww paid 13$ for the bowl and wow it was horrible im a real cajun.tonys couldnt even fix the taste. And was extremely thick like chicken stew. Go to dukes seafood and ordee that gumbo is real and good and it cost the same thing. Thought id try rice and roux its a no on the gumbo. Yes on the fish though.
