The Casual Gourmet Express - Barnstable

Wonderful desserts, especially their cakes and cupcakes. Try their Thai chicken wrap (with peanut sauce and ginger slaw) with extra peanut sauce on the side. It's SO GOOD. But get it early. They often run out near the end of the day.

They make wonderful food and treats to bring up to patients. My kids have always loved the macaroons.

The food from Casual Gourmet at the Cape Cod hospital is wonderful. The market salad with chicken and the potato topped chicken pot pie were both delicious!!! Definitely recommend if you are in or visiting

The Casual Gourmet is a coffee shop in the lobby of the Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis. The place is very small but they do a very good job with the space they have. The coffee is always hot and fresh, they have a nice variety of pastries and sandwiches. The people who work here are very friendly and organized. It's a great place for a quick bite and a good cup of coffee.

You MUST try the quahog chowder!!! Best I've ever had anywhere! Ordered sandwiches there as well while husband was in the hospital. Well made, goid prices. But try that chowder!!!
