Bidra med feedbackUnderstanding the central Bakery of Barichara understands a whole culture. Crows of hungry outsiders are usually used to think of a capital Bakery as a place that offers magnificent fresh goods first in the morning, quiet kind of service and Barrista style coffee. This Bakery is not that it is much more. The Central Bakery of Barichara is a microcosm of two worlds that have been living together for over half a century. Local and tourists. Try this bakery when opened, bak in the 1960s. The bakers come, look at the counters to see what was previously sold and bake just enough to fill the shelves. The participants arrive later, shortly after the sun culminated over the hills. They would clean up free time, open the doors and welcome people as they arrived. Nothing was was wasted. If they noticed that the bread became hard, they would cut it up and sell it to a discount to people who could not afford much more than a few pesos. This generous practice remains to this day. Hurry up today. The Central Bakery of Barichara is probably the busiest corner in the whole city. Directly in front of the doors is the main bus stop that constantly provides hordes of travellers. Even more during the holidays and the high tourism season. Nevertheless, the pace at which goodies are baked, displayed and sold as it did from the beginning. Bio, straight ahead. In fact, most bakeries in Barichara (as in many rural cities in Colombia) still have this idiosyncracy. Fresh goods come out after the morning rush when people were fed and the shelves begin to empty. In recent years the bakery has grown. It has opened a WiFi-capable area on the upper floor, which is somewhat loud (buses/cars/motorcycles), but nevertheless beautiful. (The owner's son designed it) Your breakfast is fast and satisfying. Eggs, coffee, bread, etc. In the counter you can mostly see stacks and local favorites. Barichara Central Bakery is not just a place to eat some delicious treats. It is also a cultural experience that has grown unwillingly from cultures, still from the same family that it opens up. My recommendation, order a cuppa and just sit around watching the world around you. Depending on when you arrive, give yourself this time could only be one of the best ways to understand your environment, and get to know the city, its people and their favorite bakery. Then try a few! Your Tres Leches Dessert is incredible. And if you've never had it, treat yourself to salpicón.
I went to breakfast, good attention, very fast service. The products are rich and fresh. In the season it is quite crowded, but it is worth waiting, it is in the corner of the park.
The delicious frappé, but the lousy attention, which weighs very good product and the attitude of the very coarse, unkind sellers, a customer of another city I ask them with that he could accompany the drink he asked, the very kind lord told him that rich things you recommend me of you are of the vitrina to eat and they do not look at it and they do not answer....master administrator....
He remembered a better place, more local, more friendly. The prices are high, the attention is good and the products are good. The environment is beautiful and clean. Bathroom service for customers.
The food and service were excellent, it is a bit expensive, but apart from the frits everything was delicious.
