Bidra med feedbackWe visited as large group and had a set meal of local food. The restaurant has lots of character and seems very traditional. The staff were great and it was clearly a family run business. The food was great throughout with loads of variety and different dishes. The portions were great and everyone had plenty to eat. The atmosphere was great throughout and staff spoke English very well. Thanks to all we had a great night.
Definitely worth a breakfast with home made yogurt and jams, lunch and dinner with great pasta, polenta, other local authentic dishes and great desserts like ‘crostata’ and ‘croccante’ but also a nice selection of home made spirits. The staff is always kind and pleasant to chat to. The location is very charming in Rochemolles with stylish interior design. We’ve been at their hotel for a week and had breakfast every day and lunch dinner every other day.
Having breakfast and dinner here for one week during our ski-holiday was a real pleasure. Every meal was prepared with great care and the service excellent. 'L Fouie offers varied typical regional dishes with fresh ingredients. We not only enjoyed the fresh pasta, polenta (to just mention a few) and delicious deserts (their crostata is a must) but also the cosy atmosphere near the fire place and the friendly welcoming smile of the personnel, doing their utmost to be at our service. Thanks again
Unfortunately, we were a little disappointed. the place is very nice, but actually not enough. good appetizers and a little different from the usual, but unfortunately the first disappointing ... pappardelle with wild boar ragu, mushrooms and chestnuts: practically nonexistent and little goose chestnuts! with these subjects the goto should stand out instead it discovers all a little trimonial ... non trivial price and certainly not abundant portion. selection of cheeses with jams and honey: the selection is a bit exaggerated. two pieces for three types of tomes! I might, but I don't want to think about it because there are potentials, but you don't go that far. I'm sorry because the village is really fantastic and with very few insights even the dinner could receive this adjective!
The road to reach this restaurant is a bit challenging, but it is worth it. It is a small place in an ancient stone house with the fern roof as you expect to find in the mountains; furniture and fireplace make the environment warm and welcoming. courtesy food, in absolute respect of the Alpine tradition, is of excellent quality and strictly produced in the gents of the house also declined in different variants, tanarono and
