Bidra med feedbackThe place has a comfortable relaxed atomosphere. Friendly and good service. Food being pushed as small and therefore one is told to order extra dishes. No reason for such small portions for the prices being charged. A tapas bar under the pretension of being a bistro. Food is okay but not exceptional, could be a lot better with a bit more effort.
There were nine of us. We didn't book of table before but I but I had been to this restaurant two weeks earlier, so we thought we'd try. Two weeks ago everything was just perfect and it was the same again. Food was just so tasty fresh, playful and beautiful. Staff is wonderful, sweet, helpful and sooooo nice. We really love it.
Very friendly service, good food (tapas), nice drinks and a lot of fun with the employees. Went there for dinner and would def. go again.
We visited this spot on our first night in Barcelona and it set the bar pretty high. This is a quirky spot with fun decor. The drinks menu is extensive with lots of cocktail options. We also opted for two tapas dishes, one was duck and the other I can't recall specifically but it had cheese in it. The prices are a little higher compared to a lot of spots in the area but the food was very good (if small portions). The reason for a 4 stars instead of 5 was service was a bit slow and we had to ask a few times to order. Other than that it was a nice visit.
Only open as a restaurant, cafe, bar for two months when we visited in late October 2014. The passionate owner stressed to us that her chefs creations were all made in house with fresh, local, seasonal ingredients. We were after some late afternoon Tapa and a drink to stay us over until a late dinner. Our hotel was around the corner (Market Hotel) and we had just jumped off the bus from Park Guell. Well, our Spanish isn't great so she helped describe the dishes and though I had pictured things a little differently, the three we ordered between the two of us were gorgeous. Let me add that two nights before we had gone on the Food Lovers Tapas tour, fantastic. The night before we dined at Arume, also fantastic. The food in this little bar, restaurant was so tasty we had to stop from eating more. We ordered a pancetta with spices and Harissa salsa. It was more like sliced roast pork with a delicious sweet glaze crusted in what we think were fennell, dill and caraway. Yum. There was a large cube of warm pumpkin with feta (I think) on top and floating in a corn cream sauce. My wife was lapping up the sauce with her fork. Then some warm Camembert with sweet poached pear slice and bread. All faultless. They make their own Vermut/Vermouth too. It is an eclectic interior of secondhand and street finds, mixed with some new purpose bought and other recycled classics. Nice bit of music in the background and super friendly staff. As she said, it is not a tourist area, so if they don't do good food for the local trade, they will just go elsewhere as there are quite a few around. Bodega 1900 is up the road, opposite Tickets. This isn't a romantic night out, full on dinner place. It is a casual, coffee and cake, Tapas...or more, bar, cafe, restaurant with a funky interior. Something tells me it is going to become fashionable very quickly with food like that.
