Camping Il Sergente

Rarely have we experienced such a high quality of service and facilities while staying at a campsite. Rarely have we been welcomed with such genuinely warmth. The food in the simple restaurant was one of top quality. A place run with genuine care.

A campground with a mostly fixed Italian group of caravan owners who, especially outside the season, come here in the weekends to have fun, be loud and eat and do gardening. Some passers by, four permanent rental bungalow-caravans. We rented one of these in September....The location is on top of a mountain. Its been rainy, foggy, damp 7 days out of 9 wheras the sun was brightly shining as soon as we left the mountain. That damned mountain. You need to drive either 10 or 12 kms to the nearest major road to get anywehere. Eeryday, up and down that wet cold mountain to go to nearby Florence, or any of the other Tuscan highlights. It costs time and effort as within a circle of 12 kms theres absolutely nothing. The hospitality is great though, prices are low, the nearby road is used by racing motorcycles and major positive things besides all of this is the food cooked in the kitchen if the campground. Everything we tasted was absolutely delicious. The best Pizza 4 Formaggi ever !! So all in all...if you have time and want to stay on a budget, this is a great place. If tIme is limited theres better options..

That's enough. the structure is old, the room itself is clean and large the right (the beds are not very comfortable. ) There's a stall smell in the hallways. ample dinner, adequate breakfast. Nice staff.

At the end of the third stage. The hotel is simple but clean and organized, also for laundry. excellent food menu good quality. the super available owners do everything to make you feel good. recommended
