La Bella Vita - Bar Harbor

We've been here for years and I can't say how much I enjoy their pizza and pasta! Everything is so fresh and tasty and the service at the bar is stellar. We love to see the pizza that is made! Very recommended if you are tired of all lobsters and seafood in the city.

We chased to Italy after a whale guard and saw that this place was near where we came out of the boat. I've got the pasta bolognese that was just okay, and something I'd probably skip next time. I prefer traditional hearty red sauce based on bolognese sauce. That was pink and not so hearty. The restaurant itself is beautiful and beautiful and warm with the pizza oven at the bar.

My wife and I had breakfast here each morning. The food is very good (excellent quality, well prepared) and the service is friendly with just the right amount of attentiveness. On sunny days we ate outside and on a rainy day we dined in, both were great. Recommended.

Very good place for brunch in the area. The salmon bagel appetizer which I tried was great. The restaurant does have some nice views of the bar harbor shore.

We ate breakfast and dinner at this establishment each day that we stayed in Bar Harbor. Can?t beat the location and view! The food was excellent, everything we tried was delicious, only exceeded by the friend and professional service. There are many places you can choose to eat in Bar Harbor, I recommend that you stop in here. If we return to Bar Harbor we sure will!
