The delivery took 90 minutes, which was longer than expected, but it was a Friday so it was understandable. The food was definitely worth the wait. Next time, I will make sure to order in advance.

I wanted to leave a review because I frequented South Morang Pizza on Gorge Road for nearly seven years, from 2009 to 2016, before switching to Smokin' Joe's Pizza Pasta towards the end of 2016 (which is conveniently located 30 seconds from my home). The owner, Eddy, is fantastic and I have a great rapport with him. He always takes care of his regular customers and we've built a strong relationship over the years. I even once saw him watering his lawn as I jogged by his house, and he was just as friendly. The pizzas at South Morang Pizza are loaded with toppings, and I especially love their Super Special with everything on it. They make sure to ask if you want anchovies with the Special because it's a standard addition, unlike other places where you have to pay extra for them. The pizzas strike the perfect balance between generous toppings and flavorful ingredients, without being too oily or soggy. If you live nearby and haven't tried this spot yet, I highly recommend it because you won't be disappointed. I recently went back and ordered a Super Special just to reminisce, and it was still delicious. I've upped my rating to 4.0 because they truly deserve it. These pizzas are simply fantastic.

The pizza at this restaurant is consistently delicious. Occasionally, the service may be a bit slow, but the quality of the pizzas and carbonara makes up for it. Be sure to check their opening hours - you won't be disappointed! Haha.
